Overview
Cleanup Utility is a console application that removes all Acronis products and their components from Windows. The cleaning utility should only be used if the device cannot be removed in the usual way via the Windows Control Panel or via the installation file.
Follow the steps below to uninstall Acronis Backup software from a Windows computer. The order in which the steps are listed is important: always start with the steps at the top of the list:
+ Go to All Programs -> Acronis -> . -> Uninstall => Try to uninstall in this way if this option is provided for this product.

+ If Microsoft FixIt cannot resolve the issue, use the appropriate Acronis cleanup utility.
In this article, we will show you how to use Cleanup Utility to uninstall Acronis Cyber Protect or Acronis Cyber Backup.
Instructions
Step one: Download a cleaning program.

After downloading the file, download it to the computer from which you want to remove Acronis Cyber Protect.
Step two: Start the Acronis cleanup program.
Right click on the file and select Run as administrator.
The user interface of the tool looks like the one shown below. Press y to accept the uninstallation.
The uninstallation process continues.
You will also be prompted to reboot the system to complete the removal. Do not restart the device immediately, but leave it for a while.
Step three: Check registration
Go to Start > Run > Registry.
Navigate to the control class HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet {4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. Press the
Find the top or bottom filters (if any) and click on them. Check if snapman *, tdrpman *, fltsrv are still in these keys or not, if so, remove them and click OK.
Message: Do not delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
Then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control Class {71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}. Check in the same way as above. Press the
Find the top or bottom filters (if any) and click on them. Check if snapman *, tdrpman *, fltsrv are still in these keys, if so, delete them and click OK.
Finally, return to the cleaning tool and tap it to agree to restart the device.
In addition to uninstalling Acronis Cyber Protect software, Acronis supports uninstalling other Acronis products: Acronis True Image, Acronis Backup and Restore 10+11, Acronis Disk Director.
