Overview

Cleanup Utility is a console application that removes all Acronis products and their components from Windows. The cleaning utility should only be used if the device cannot be removed in the usual way via the Windows Control Panel or via the installation file.

Follow the steps below to uninstall Acronis Backup software from a Windows computer. The order in which the steps are listed is important: always start with the steps at the top of the list:

+ Go to All Programs -> Acronis -> . -> Uninstall => Try to uninstall in this way if this option is provided for this product.
+ If the above steps do not completely remove the product, use the Microsoft FixIt utility. Select the option I want to delete the product. Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d
