At any one time, a person may be a member of several teams. However, certain teams may be undesirable or unneeded at any one time, but they still clutter the main home page, making navigating to the required team difficult.

When unneeded teams clog up the main screen, Microsoft Teams offers you the ability to conceal them, making your home screen more organized.
Step 1: On the top right of the team’s square icon, click on the Hamburger opinion.
Step 2: Select Hide from the drop-down menu.
While the preferred team is concealed, the others move to the left.
The material of the hidden teams is not destroyed, and it may be retrieved at any moment. Follow the procedures below to see the hidden teams or add them back to the main dashboard.
Step 1: Go to the bottom of the main dashboard page and scroll down.
Step 2: Select Hidden Teams from the drop-down menu.
To see the team and its contents, just click on the team name, and all of the information, files, and data will appear.

There is an alternate approach in which all teams are displayed and may be toggled between Hide and Show depending on your preferences.
Step 1: Next to the Join or create team option, click the Settings button.
Step 2: Choose Manage Teams from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: To conceal or display the team, click the eye in the second last column.
The dark eye symbol denotes a public team, while the light eye image denotes a secret team.

Within a team, channels are sub-divisions. In the event of an action, such as a new message or a meeting, every channel visible in the team sends a notice. However, there may be superfluous channels, and their alerts may be distracting, just as there may be distracting teams. A team’s channels may also be concealed and displayed depending on their needs and requirements.
Step 1: Select the hamburger menu option next to the channel’s name.
Step 2: Select Hide from the drop-down menu.
The contents of a channel will remain available even after it has been hidden. Similarly to concealing a channel, revealing a channel may be accomplished in the same way.
Step 1: Hover over the Hidden channel option with your cursor.
Step 2: Click on the > arrow to view the hidden channels.
Step 3: The Show option will appear when you mouse over the secret channel name.

If you haven’t been added to a team directly by the team owner, there are two main methods to join. The first approach is to use the team code that the owner has given.
Step 1: On the top right, just below the profile settings and image, click Join or Create Team.
Step 2: Enter the code that has been given.
Step 3: Select “Join team” from the drop-down menu.
The second way is to use the team’s link.
Step 1: To join the team, click on the given link.
Step 2: If you’re using the desktop program, click Open Microsoft Teams when asked. If you want to utilize the web app, click cancel, then choose the necessary choice.
The team will launch the prompt on the desktop or internet application as soon as it is clicked.

When there are more than 10-15 active teams, it may be difficult to find the most essential one, as opposed to a team that is only utilized sometimes. It is usually preferable to reorganize the teams in priority order according to one’s comfort and usefulness in this situation.
Step 1: Transfer the cursor over the team you want to move and drag it into place.
Step 2: Place the dragged team in their new location.
