Nintendo released a new Zelda game this year, and the initial response wasn’t pretty. The game, called “Breath of the Wild”, was a phenomenal success, and it looks amazing. But with such a big game, there are bound to be some unanswered questions.
In the past week, we’ve seen a lot of rumors and speculation surrounding what Nintendo may have in store for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel. And while the company is intentionally leaving fans in the dark, it’s always nice to have a little bit of closure. In an interview with IGN, Eiji Aonuma offered up a few key details about the game’s story and gameplay. Does anyone else find it odd that we’ve been seeing trailers for this game for years and still don’t know what it’s called? It’s not called Breath of the Wild 2. Instead, Nintendo has said that they know the name, but are keeping it a secret so as not to reveal what will happen in the game. The fact is, sooner or later, they’re going to have to tell us. There will likely be a big reveal in an upcoming trailer, and unfortunately, aside from wild speculation, there are no real clues yet as to what that might be.
