How to get the Mercado key in Sea of Thieves
You can find the Mercado key next to the fountain in the Captains of the Damned area. You must collect the key to complete the Treasure for Eternity adventure. To get the key, you must first enter the village. After that, you’ll find the pit where a character named Carlos is being tortured. You’ll find a key at the edge of the well.
After you get the key to the Mercado, continue through the village until you find the building with the clock tower and the MERCADO sign. Go to the right side of the building and find the door marked M. You can use the key to open it.
Once inside go up the stairs until you find an open window with a burning torch next to it. Light the torch with the lantern, then go back to the street and walk around to the other side of the building. You walk along the path that leads to the pier and get on the boat there.
When you get in the boat, another boat should appear in front of you with ghosts on it. Follow it to where the two ghosts from the other ship are digging. Help them dig up the item marked Valuable Villagers, then give it to the two skeletons now in your boat. Once you have successfully completed it, a certificate of treasure for eternity should appear, confirming that you have completed it.
