You Need Money
In Tarkov, where all players fight on the territory of an abandoned city and its environs, there is a lot of useful equipment like x4 sight, a silencer, cartridges for M4, or AK, which, by the way, also need to be found and then your gameplay and survival will be easier and more comfortable, and most importantly – safer.
But you can buy all this if you have enough EFT rubles.
This is the in-game currency that is needed to interact with merchants and can be earned by selling goods that you received during combat outings and raids or simply buying Tarkov Skycoach rubles.
To do this, go to the service’s website, select your game and indicate the amount and that’s it, after 5 minutes you will have enough in-game money in your inventory to buy good starting equipment and insure it in case of death.
Transactions are carried out quickly and safely with the provision of financial guarantees and the opportunity to return funds.
Plan The Purpose Of Your Combat Exit
Every time you leave the territory of a military base, you risk losing all your property and not being able to take away the new trophies you received.
Therefore, you always need a plan for your actions.
If you want to upgrade your operative, then collect more quests from merchants and at the same time increase your level of trust with them.
If you need resources, then it is better to use a wild character who you don’t mind losing in the event of a fight and who will have neutrality with the bandits.
If your goal is to earn Escape from Tarkov rubles, then it is better to go in a group, and then you have a greater chance of survival. You will be able to deliver three times more important resources to the base.
If you want to train your shooting and weapon sense, then you don’t need to risk your operative for this – just start the training mode, select the right weapon and set the behavior of the bots to a horde and shoot a huge number of enemies and at the same time study the mechanics of shooting.
Merchants
EFT has its own faction of merchants and individual NPCs from whom you can buy and sell different groups of goods.
Your level of interaction and loyalty with them determines the overall prices of goods and the availability of rare items.
If you complete the nurse’s tasks and trade medicines and household items with her, you will eventually be able to buy a good supply of first aid kits for future trips.
The situation works similarly with other sellers, from whom it will be possible to buy assault rifles and other weapons and accessories for them at cheaper prices than they are presented at the flea market.
The overall relationship with the faction will greatly affect your ability to use a wild character, with the rental time being increased, carry weight expanded, and starting equipment improved. It is on this character that most players earn cheap Tarkov rubles.
Collect Trophies Safely
Many players make mistakes in collecting trophies during battles.
They begin to collect objects while standing at full height, or just after killing the enemy.
There is no need to do this – remember that there are not only bandits around, but also enemy PMCs.
You need to always be on alert – loot enemies only by looking around and in a prone position, in order to be less noticeable to snipers.
Do not open your inventory unnecessarily in an open area – always first find a shelter where you will not be taken by surprise and only then examine the loot or sort the items.
Unloading And Optimal Filling Of Inventory
When you go on a combat mission, you will want to take as many different items as possible for yourself and for sale, but the backpack will fill up too quickly, so you will need unloading.
These are small backpacks that take up only one inventory slot, but you can put various cartridges and other items in it that will bring rubles to Escape from Tarkov.
It’s better that you have a lot of Tarkov unloads, which, among other things, can be found in the combat foray zone and taken from killed enemies and then filled with new goods and items.
You can carry them to the full extent of your inventory, which is what many players do when they go to neutral territories for resources.
Find And Use Grenades
Many players significantly underestimate the functionality and capabilities of grenades and do not even collect them, or do it for the sake of subsequent sale at a flea market.
This is the wrong approach because grenades can deal heavy and fatal damage to enemies, especially those hiding behind cover.
You can set up faster ways to throw a grenade.
To do this, press counter and a number from 1 to 4 and LMB and your grenade will fly towards the target.
The second option is a quick throw, press the r key and your operative will quickly throw it in the direction of your gaze.
You need to get used to this format, otherwise you might just throw a grenade at your feet.
Just aim above, not in front of, and be aware of any potential obstacles which may prevent the grenade from reaching the target or bounce back in your direction.
Use Good Ammo
Tarkov has its own gradation of ammo quality, which must be taken into account before going to combat zones in which you may encounter the enemy.
The cartridges can be rusty, refurbished after storage, regular or new.
Rusty ammunition can most often be found among bandits and is best picked up only in moments of desperation and shortage.
They often jam their weapons, which takes up time in battle and can take your life.
Remanufactured cartridges are much better in quality, but still not perfect. You can always bribe them at a cheap price for EFT rubles, so that you always have a reserve in case of protracted battles.
Regular and new cartridges are the most profitable and effective and their damage is higher than that of other types of ammunition, but their cost is higher due to their relative rarity in the search.
Try to loot and buy high-quality ammunition according to the principle that special forces do – 600 rounds of ammunition with you on a mission and 6 grenades in case of a collision with an enemy behind cover, and you are ready for battle.
The Enemy Is Not Always Alone
When you go into combat for the sake of drops, Escape from Tarkov rubles, or experience, you will always encounter enemies.
It could be a player, or a bandit, or an entire group.
You must always remember that you move separately, but as quietly as possible, and no one ever knows how many enemies there really are around.
If you yourself start the battle, or repel the attack of enemies, then you must remember that other opponents may come to the sound of shots and this factor must be taken into account, and not immediately run after loot from the enemy, or the place for which the battle was fought.
Explore the territory, take a position, set up an ambush and only then move on, because if you die, then the whole raid and campaign was in vain.
Purchase Insurance
Before each of your trips and tasks, you will have the opportunity to insure your property.
This gives its advantage, although it spends Tarkov’s honestly earned rubles:
- In the event of death, your item will remain with you, which is especially beneficial for weapons with a full body kit in the form of a sight, silencer, fire stabilizer, and so on.
- You can simply throw away your item if it bothers you, or it runs out of ammo, and after the raid, you will still get it back.
Rent A Wild Character
This is a mechanic that allows you to rent a character who is neutral to all PMCs and bandits, who has poor equipment and is only used to go for valuable items without risking his main agent.
Scav can attack PMCs and collect drops from them, while other players can only shoot back at you, otherwise they will lower their loyalty level with the merchant faction.
The higher the level of trust, the cheaper the rental, the longer the time and the better the starting equipment.
Just use it to bring out new equipment and ammo for the main character.
Learn To Shoot
In Tarkov, you have to get used to the ballistics and types of weapons, their recoil, and killing power in order to be effective.
It will be better to use the training mode rather than real battles, in which you will often die, at least at the very beginning of your gameplay.
Set Up Binds
This is a keyboard shortcut for quickly performing an action.
To be effective, you need a bind for medicine, throw a grenade, and get the necessary weapon to replace the main weapon.
Avoid The Enemy
Sometimes, it is better to bypass your opponent than to wait for him to come to you, especially since he can also play tactically or even throw a grenade at you.
If possible, buy yourself headphones with support for 7.1 sound so that you can clearly hear the direction of steps and shots – this will help you play projects such as Escape from Tarkov.
Removing Fear
At first, after trying out the mechanics of the project and reading about the chances of losing valuable loot, you will experience jitters.
This is normal, and fears and stiffness will begin to go away the moment you kill the first opponent, lose loot, and find it again as part of forays and understand the mechanics of bullet flight for different weapons.
